The Civic Association of Hollin Hills Welcomes You!

Welcome to Hollin Hills as we celebrate our 75th anniversary!  The Civic Association of Hollin Hills (CAHH) is a voluntary community organization promoting the common good of its residents.

Hollin Hills is home to many distinguished design and landscape architects who, together with their fellow-residents, are eager to showcase our unique community during the 2024 House + Garden Tour. We’re grateful for your support of the Civic Association of Hollin Hills through the purchase of your ticket. Here’s a little more about where that money goes.

Hollin Hills is, above all, a community of volunteers, beginning with the House + Garden Tour Committee.  That Committee, made up entirely of neighbors, has volunteered untold hours to prepare for this year’s Tour.  We are grateful both to them and to the homeowners who have graciously opened their homes to you, our guests.

To be sure, our robust volunteer spirit spills over into many other areas of community life as well:

·       The CAHH Parks’ Committee maintains our nearly 30 acres of woodland trails, parks, a sylvan playground and a bocce court.

·       The Hollin Hills Pool Committee provides a community-focused summer recreational oasis for hundreds of families.

·       The Hollin Hills Pickleball and Tennis Club, an exceedingly popular newcomer, offers year-round recreation to its many members.

·       The Hollin Hills Design Review Committee safeguards the external design integrity of our mid-century modern homes, working in tandem with Fairfax County, which has designated Hollin Hills as a Historic Overlay District.

·       The CAHH Social Committee organizes our signature annual event, a Fourth of July parade and picnic, plus a Winter Potluck, an Oktoberfest and other big fun gatherings.

·       A lively monthly “Bulletin” and a well-designed website (hollinhills.org) keep us all up-to-speed on the latest doings in the community.

·       Last but by no means least, the nine members of the CAHH Board of Directors coordinate the activities enumerated above – and more – while planning for the future.

Funds raised through the House + Garden Tour help fund all these activities and more, most notably the maintenance and preservation of our parks and the architectural integrity of the neighborhood. Again, we are delighted to welcome you to Hollin Hills amid such a happy confluence of events – our historic 75th anniversary and the splendid 2024 House + Garden Tour!
